Since I was kid I had strong belief that I could accomplish anything I had in mind. I justified it, at about 10-11 years old, by thinking about all the other people who did great things. In my mind I knew they were just men, and also women, but they were just human. Just human. I wasn’t an arrogant child but I couldn’t be told someone who was made of the very same elements and and substance of me could do things that I wouldn’t be able to. No school taught me that. No family member drilled that into my mind. I thought of that. Thank God it stuck. Since then I’ve done so much but few things compare to the writings I’ve created. I’ve been a poet since. From the idea of a child was born Steps.
